Arguably one of the most memorable television commercials ever aired, Apple’s “1984” ad was directed by Ridley Scott and teased the world about how the Mac would change the world.
Even at this early point in Apple’s history you can see Steve Jobs trying to establish an air of mystery around his fledgling company. This ad ran during the 1983 Super Bowl, and then one more time on Jan. 22, 1984, and that was it.
